Film Description

Julie Andrews gets her best role in years as Victoria, a down-on-her-luck cabaret singer who, prompted by her new friend Toddy, pretends to be a drag queen in order to make a living in Paris at the beginning of the 20th Century. She is an immediate success, but complications arrive when she falls for a gangster (James Garner), in this fizzy farce that remains Blake Edwards’ best film since his work with Peter Sellers.
