Film Description

17 year-old Pierre falls in love with his mother Helene. Refusing to be loved for something she isn't, she decides to break all mystery and reveal her true nature, that of a woman for whom immorality has become an addiction. Pierre asks her to initiate him into her world. Huppert characteristically goes that step further in her portrayal of the mother. Based on George Bataille's unfinished novel.
