A wonderful film. The main character is a dreamer driven to bring opera to the Amazon jungle. Fantastic scenery & no special effects make this a visual treat. The raw power of nature is mindboggling. Proves that although a failure at his mad schemes, {making ice in the jungle & a trans andean railway}! He does bring the Opera to the jungle in the end, whilest blowing his Girlfriend's money in the process! Worth watching for Klaus Kinski alone! < less
