Film Description

John Farley is shocked to discover that his mother Beverly (Susan Sarandon) is to marry his old high school gym teacher Jasper Woodcock (Billy Bob Thornton), the man who tortured him and countless other students with his own sadistic brand of education. Now John - successful author of a book about letting go of a rough past and rebuilding your life - has to return to his home town and to the scene of those painful memories of torment to stop the wedding.
