Film Description

Oscar winner Minghella directs his own screenplay in this tale of an affluent architect (Jude Law) and his encounter with a young thief which leads him into an relationship with the boy's mother (Juliette Binoche), a working-class immigrant. This story of a series of thefts, some criminal, some emotional, is set against the backdrop of a changing London whose geographical and cultural landscape is in flux.
