A mainstream Cronenberg film? Almost. Very accessible and enjoyable, partly due to the fine acting jobs performed by by the two leads. A failed assassination attempt sends top computer games designer (Leigh) on the run with marketing geek (Law). They delve into her damaged revolutionary game system - eXistenZ - in a hope to save it. As you’d hope from a Cronenberg film, there are great ideas, good visuals and an unsettling ending.
