Film Description

Controversial British director Ken Russell's film stars ballet-dancer-turned actor Rudolf Nureyev as Valentino, the adored silent screen actor of the early Hollywood age. The film begins at his funeral in 1926 and, using flashbacks, backtracks to his glory-days when former ballroom dancer Valentino used his good-looks and charm to mould a very successful career in the movies and become one of the first male screen idols. A typically flamboyant production from one of cinema's originals.
