The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934)

Alfred Hitchcock, 1934

Film Description

A rattling good yarn in which father leaps into action after his daughter is kidnapped, finding a murky world of spurious sects in the foggy London streets as he does so. The climax comes in the Albert Hall. Peter Lorre makes his English-speaking debut as the charming but psychotic kidnapper. Hitchcock later decided to produce a big-budget, colour remake of the film with James Stewart and Doris Day.
