Film Description

Director John Henderson's animated big-screen updating of the classic BBC childrens series. Produced by the team responsible for 'Spitting Image', the story follows the adventures of three rodent friends, Hammy Hamster (voice of Ardal O'Hanlon), Roderick Rat (voice of Steve Coogan), and GP the Guinea Pig. After being swept down the river in a violent storm, the intrepid friends set off to find out what has become of their homes, encountering many obstacles and new-found friends along the way. But as their journey continues, they realise the riverbank is under threat from the deadly emissions coming from the WMD (waffles, marmalade, and doughnut) factory, run by the seriously shifty 'Fat Cats'.
