Film Description

The classic silent adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's story with a central performance from John Barrymore as the scientist whose experiments with revealing the dark side of man release the murderer within. His transformation into the demented Hyde is still the template for many adaptations and there are also some genuinely unnerving moments too, as when the giant spider enters the body of the sleeping Jekyll.
