He made just 4 films which are featured here: the hypnotic and playful Le Retour a la raison, the abstract, dadaist cinepoem Emak Bakla, L'Etoile de Mer based on a poem by Robert Desnos, and the surrealist Les Mysteres du Chateau du De. Also contains 11 short autobiographical films (some of which are home movie style and star Pablo Picasso and Lee Miller among them), and offers a unique and intimate portrait of an extraordinary life and a fascinating personality.
