Enjoyably self-conscious detective drama played out by a top-notch cast. Four men - a journalist, a doctor, a professor and a merchant, meet up every evening in a deserted bar to play cards. One night the police arrive with the news that a dead body has been found nearby and the inspector in charge is sure that one of them did it.
