Film Description

Homecoming warriors Claudio and Benedick turn their attentions to romance, but soon friends, brothers and lovers are all found wanting. This is a spirited production of the first of Shakespeare's three great romantic comedies and features some of the great names in British television. Lindsay and Lunghi perfectly enact the sparring wit of Benedick and Beatrice while Elphick and Dunn provide excellent support as Dogberry and Vesper, two of Shakespeare's best-loved clowns.
