Film Description

Aka L’Amour en fuite. The fifth and final part of the Antoine Doinel series. Antoine has now separated from his wife Christine and is in the midst of a passionate affair with Sabine. One day however he spots his childhood sweetheart Colette on the train, jumps into her carriage and within hours, a number of people are back in Paris trying to rebuild their lives. This is touching, funny film-making, and with a clever use of flashbacks of earlier Doinel films.
