Film Description

Patricia Teeling leaves the rural farming community she grew up in and moves to Dublin where she soon picks up admirers, one of whom is writer Danny Sullivan. When Danny’s wife is murdered by a serial killer, Patricia witholds information from the police which might lead them to suspect him.

The killer, motivated by fantasies of female innocence, then becomes fixated on Patricia who starts to receive anonymous phone calls full of literary and sexual allusions. After discovering the killer's identity of the killer, Patricia tries to escape - can she manage to elude death, or will she become the next victim?

A thriller written and directed by Robin Hardy, famed for his cult horror The Wicker Man.
