A collection featuring five silent films from the great American director John Ford. Features Just Pals (1920), The Iron Horse (1924), Three Bad Men (1926), Four Sons (1928) and Hangman's House (1928).

The Iron Horse is one of Ford's great westerns, telling of the laying of the first railroad across the West to California, with emphasis on historic authenticity throughout. George O'Brien (Sunrise) stars and the film is presented in two versions - American and UK.

Just Pals stars Buck Jones as a lazy bum who takes a homeless boy under his wing as he tries to change his image.

Hangman's House is a saga set in Ireland, stars Victor McLaglan and also sees the screen debut of John Wayne.

Three Bad Men stars George O'Brien in a saga of three outlaws of the wild west who become protectors of a little girl after her mother is killed.

In Four Sons, three German brothers enlist in the German army during WWI, while the fourth goes to America.
