A celebration of the life of Elvis Presley. Through rare footage, interviews and unseen photos, the programme tracks Elvis's rise from humble beginnings in Tupelo, Mississippi, to his position as the world's first and greatest superstar, through to his death at the age of just 42. Included are interviews with Sam Phillips of Sun Records, the man who discovered Elvis and the president of the Elvis Presley fan club, and also clips from the Frank Sinatra show and footage of his Army and film years.
