Film Description

aka My Father the Hero. When divorcee André takes his 14 year-old daughter to Mauritius on holiday, he discovers that she really is no longer the little girl he thought he knew when, to impress a boy, she concocts an increasingly far-fetched story about him. A wry, affectionate and unashamedly old-fashioned comedy. Remade three years later in Hollywood, again with Depardieu in the lead, as My Father the Hero.
