Film Description

A tragicomedy set in a lunatic asylum, into which Jack Nicholson is placed after faking insanity. While there he leads the rest of his ward to rebel against the system. Marked by a number of indelible performances - Will Sampson as Chief, Brad Dourif as Billy Louise, and unforgettably, Louise Fletcher as the spiteful Nurse Ratched - the film won five Oscars and numerous other awards. Based on Ken Kesey's novel.

Brilliant film maybe about the best film I have ever seen . a gripping tale of the torture used in a mental home and how one man rebelled against all the odds and eventually had to pay the price.

Oscars Winners - Great films, up to 70% off by MovieMail

This year, MovieMail has decided to dispense with the standard list of award-winners, and lift the curtain on some of the lesser-known categories in which many rare and exciting films reside.
The following movies were singled out for important aspects of the film-making craft and, we think, are the titles which glister brightest in Uncle Oscar's auric eye.
